Chris DaileyFounder, The Sports Court Myron Tagovailoa-Amosa is 6’2, 285 lbs, and a force to be reckoned with.
The All ACC Second-Team defense lineman comes from a family of talented football players, the Tagovailoa family. Myron’s cousin Tua is the starting QB for the Alabama Crimson Tide and his other cousin Taulia is a QB at Maryland. The big-man of the family, Myron has learned a lot from his older cousin, Tua, who has been on the big stage many times. Even being thrown onto the stage in 2017 when Nick Saban benched Jalen Hurts and put in Tua during the National Championship Game against Georgia. From that day on, the three letters, ‘T-U-A’ have been infamous in the world of football. “He’s (Tua) always told us to have trust and faith in ourselves and faith in our teammates. And above all just don’t let the moment be big for you,” Myron said about what his cousin, Tua, taught him. Myron is listening well to his cousin's advice, proving to be a solid player in a star-studded Notre Dame team. The big-man now takes on his Tua’s alma mater in the Rose Bowl game, competing for a spot in the CFP National Championship game.
