 The College Football Playoffs are upon us. LSU and Oklahoma will battle it out for the Peach Bowl, and Clemson and Ohio State will play each other for the Fiesta Bowl. The winners go to the biggest game in all of college sports, the National Title game. In this article, Chris Dailey will be giving his predictions on who will win and who will cover the betting odds for the two games. PEACH BOWL (+13.5 LSU) |

LSU is favored in the Peach Bowl by 13.5. However, both LSU and Oklahoma have defenses I cannot get behind. Early in the season, LSU let both Vanderbilt and Texas put up 38 on them. Later down the road, they let Alabama put up 41 on them with a backup QB in an instant Iron Bowl classic, and then they let Ole Miss score 37 against them. They have had good games, however not enough prove that Coach Ed and the Tigers have an elite defense.
On the other sideline, Oklahoma is experiencing the same issues. They only beat a 5 loss Iowa State team by 1 (42-41), and they lost to Kansas State 48-41 in the biggest upset of the college football season. However, Oklahoma has a chip on their shoulder and they are angry going into this game. Oklahoma is led by Jalen Hurts, who is trying to prove he can play well when the pressure is on, and I am sure that Oklahoma will look to attack this LSU team. It will be hard for the Sooners to keep up with LSU, as Heisman winner, Joe Burrow, has been playing superb football this season, but I think Jalen Hurts and the Sooners will keep the game close.

On the other sideline, Oklahoma is experiencing the same issues. They only beat a 5 loss Iowa State team by 1 (42-41), and they lost to Kansas State 48-41 in the biggest upset of the college football season. However, Oklahoma has a chip on their shoulder and they are angry going into this game. FIESTA BOWL (-2 Clemson)
Ohio State’s Heisman candidate, Justin Fields, and Clemson’s star QB, Trevor Lawerence, are going to be battling it out for a ticket to the Fiesta Bowl. Both teams are well matched, and it will make for an exciting match for Americans to tune into to. Ohio State has a monster on their defense in Chase Young, however I don’t think this will disrupt the Tigers offense. If Clemson realistically wants to win this game, they need to put points up quickly. Ohio State is most likely going to try to run a lot this game, with Justin Fields knee only ‘80-85% said Fields himself. The Buckeyes do have one of the best running backs in the country, JK Dobbins, who needs to have a big performance if the Buckeyes want a shot at beating the Tigers. I have Clemson winning this game as they have the talent, experience, and coaching that will all play a factor in this game.

It's Christmas time...
and many NFL teams and their fans are wishing for good presents. The main present in the joy of winning. Of going to the Super Bowl and hoisting that Lombardi Trophy, but in order to do that, some other presents need to be gifted beforehand...
Eagles: Good Receivers
They either cannot catch, don’t get open, or get injured. If you want Wentz to thrive like he did in 2017, before the injury (and a Super Bowl run led by his backup, Nick Foles), you need to give him a good supporting cast. Agholor is hot and cold, and the Eagles biggest threat in the passing game is Zach Ertz or Deontay Burnett, who has been on the practice squad nearly all season. If the Eagles want to make it to another Super Bowl, they need more reliable wideouts.
Cowboys: Get Rid of Jason Garrett
This wish looks as if it will be granted. With a team full of talent, they don’t even have the top spot in the lackluster NFC East. The Cowboys have stars such as Zack Martin, Ezekiel Elliot, Dak Prescott, Amari Cooper, Leighton Vander Esch and more, however they still manage to lose games. Garrett has lost belief from the players in the locker room, as well as the management of top. Garrett’s promises have not been fulfilled for nearly ten years now, and it’s time the Cowboys say goodbye to him and move onto another coach.
Browns: Just fix everything
The players are not performing. However, how can you perform with the way Freddie Kitchens coaches. The first thing the Browns need to do is to get rid of Kitchens, and then some of their players. To many personalities in one locker room is a recipe for disaster, and the Browns have just that. After coming off of the most promising season in nearly a decade for Brows fans, they have let the Dawg Pound down yet again with lackluster performances. Despite having Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb, David Njoku, Odell Beckham jr, and Jarvis Landry, the Browns still find a way to not make the playoffs. I think Browns fans are wishing for LeBron to return to the Cavs again so they can at least have one franchise win a trophy.
Lions: Get Stafford help
Matthew Stafford is currently injured, and this is because of how little help he receives. To start off, Matt Patricia should get fired, for a defensive coach he has only made the Lions defense regress. Meanwhile on the offensive side of the ball, the Lions give almost zero protection to the quarterback, and as a result, Stafford has become an injury prone QB. It’s to bad as many say Stafford would be the best in the NFL if he were on a different team, which I do find true. The talent is there, however no talent in the world can handle what Stafford has to deal with. A good example of a quarterback whose talent was wasted just like Stafford is Andrew Luck. Luck was dealt with a bad offensive line, took a beating that wore him down both mentally and physically, and he retired at 30. Lions fans are hoping to find some good offensive linemen under the tree this year.

This is also a year of Phillip Rivers talent wasted yet again, and his time is running up. On the bright side, at least they get a decent draft pick.

Would you rather. It's a popular game played by millions amongst millions of people across the world. It has become famous for it's bizarre and unusual questions that really get you thinking. So today, I (Chris Dailey) will be answering some would you rather question, but it's the sports edition of the game!
Would you rather....
WYR: Be an offensive/defensive coordinator in the NFL or a head coach in college?
It does depend on the college, but if it's a power 5 school or a big name outside of power 5 (ex: Notre Dame), I would do college head coach.
WYR: Be regular season MVP or MVP of the championship game/series?
Championship game/series MVP. Get it done when your team needs you the most, that's 100% my choice.
WYR: Would you rather be a legendary coach or player?
I would love to say both. Lets keep in mind I am 14 and would love to do both. In all honesty, I am going to say player.
WYR: Be a general manager or head coach?
Going to say head coach.
WYR: Be the most clutch NFL kicker in history or be the most clutch hitter in MLB history?
Toughest one yet. Going to ride with kicker in the NFL.
WYR: Be a mascot for a day or drive the zamboni for a day?
Zamboni without a doubt in my mind.
WYR: Win the Heisman or NFL MVP?
This is the toughest one yet. The NFL MVP means you're the best in the world, so I am going to go with NFL MVP.
