opinions, PRedictions, and more
Dear sports, I miss you. I miss the competition. I miss being a passionate fan. I miss the last second game winners. I miss the comebacks. I miss it. As sports have come to an abrupt stop for the time being, I think it’s safe to say millions if not billions of people around the world have realized what sports mean to us. Sports are more than a game, they’re a life. Sports define who I am. Without sports, I don’t know who I would be. All I know is I wouldn’t be myself. Sports are an integral piece in our society. Sports unite us. They bring us together in times of happiness and in times of sorrow. However, this isn't a time we have seen before. With sports not being on for the time being, I will wait. I will wait for that ball to be kicked on the field again. I will wait for the buzzer beater. I will wait. But for now, thank you. Thank you sports for the amazing times you have given us so far. Never change.
