Chris Dailey, founder of The Sports Court, interviews Portland Timbers star goalkeeper, Jeff Attinella. Attinella, a Florida native, was a top college player at the University of South Florida. After being drafted by Real Salt Lake, Attinella played his rookie season with the Tampa Bay Rowdies and led them to an NASL SoccerBowl win, saving three penalty kicks along the way! After returning to Real Salt Lake, Attinella was traded to Minnesota United FC and then quickly traded again over to the Portland Timbers. With the Timbers, Attinella has been an integral piece in a squad that won the MLS Western Conference Championship. The star goalkeeper is also a co-founder/owner of It Had To Be Told Publishing, a publishing company that writes books about historic sports moments for younger generations to read and learn about!
