Interview #3- Brady Fleurent

Bio

Brady Fleurnet is a pro hockey player for the Atlanta Gladiators of the ECHL. Brady played college puck at the University of New England, and was a star player there. Brady earned awards such as 2018-2019 AHCA All-America East 1st team, 2018-2019 Sid Watson Award Runner-Up (DIII Player of the Year) just to name a few! Brady is an exiting talent with a great future ahead of him!

What was your favorite NHL team growing up?
Boston Bruins

Describe yourself in three words
Nice, hard working, passionate 

What was a challenge you faced to get to where you are now, and how did you persevere?
Some challenges I faced was being a smaller guy while scouts looked for bigger guys so I got over looked a lot because of my size. I persevered through this challenge by working hard on my speed and skill to become a smarter player and be successful as a smaller player 

If you were to make an NHL 3v3 team who would be your two teammates?
Steven Stamkos, and Charlie McAvoy.

Any advice for young kids trying to go pro?
My advice would be to work hard and have fun while playing. Having fun while playing is the most important part! Play other sports in the offseason as well! Become a full athlete by playing other sports and that athleticism will translate on the ice
