#1- Jamie Vardy
Jamie Vardy is having a party this season! Vardy and Leicester sit at second place in the Premier League currently and Vardy has been helping reach Leicester heights not many thought they could, again. His 13 goals have him at the top of the race for the golden boot and he doesn't seem to be slowing down. Jamie's energetic personality and incredible story of playing in non league to becoming a Premier League star has made him a fan favorite. Vardy's one goal per 97 minutes is also top of the league, he's been a top attacker in the league for years and it's time people have started to realize.
#2- Lamar Jackson
Lamar Jackson. Sink it in. You're going to be hearing that a lot for the upcoming years. In only his second season in the NFL, Jackson has become an NFL MVP front-runner and has changed the game. He's untouchable when running, and his passes are on point nearly every time. Jackson currently has 2,532 passing yards and his on pace to shatter Michael Vick's long standing rushing record by a QB. Jackson and the Ravens are a heavy favorite to win the Super Bowl currently, and with Jackson's strong play, that might just come true.
#3- Luca Doncic
Doncic is currently averaging 30 points per game and has led the Dallas Mavericks back to NBA spotlight. The european superstar has helped show the NBA that it may be worth the investment to draft a top european prospect, as many teams were skeptical of taking the former Euro League MVP. Doncic has been playing lights out, and his stardom has risen to many believing he's the best player in the NBA, others calling him the next LeBron. Keep in mind he's 20 years old.
#4- David Pastrnak
Patrnak leads NHL in goals right now, having 25 to his name. Partrnak has also tallied 17 assists this season, helping the Bruins be one of the top teams in the league yet again. Pastrnak is only 23, showing how dominant the young star is. He's on track for nearly 70 goals, and many NHL fans have started the Pastrnak counter, waiting to see if the the Bruins star hits the mark. Pastrnak's amazing play has made one of the most valuable players in the NHL, and Boston is keen on keeping the star.
#5- Lionel Messi
He just scored a game winner against Atletico Madrid. He just won the Ballon D'or. Lionel Messi is on a roll. Their is no doubt that he's been playing like a star, saving a Barcelona team that has been under a lot of fire as of late for questionable play. In 9 La Liga matches this year he's scored 9 goals and provided 5 assists. Messi is a top player, and he's playing like a top player. He undoubtedly deserves a spot of the Fab Five list, and will keep on getting them if he keeps up his play. Messi, 32, still has a few years left in the tank, so enjoy the brilliant Argentinian while you can.
